Our Mission Statement:

Toy Breeds In Need Rescue (TBIN), an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was created with the goal of rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing toy breed dogs in the Maryland area.  It is the mission of TBIN to accept toy breed dogs regardless of age or health provided reasonable quality of life can be maintained for the dog.  TBIN provides necessary and proper veterinary care including altering (spaying/neutering) prior to placement of any and all rescued dogs, and also acts as a hospice for rescued dogs too ill or elderly to be placed in adoptive homes.  TBIN uses a blend of both allopathic (traditional) and holistic veterinary medicine to provide a balanced approach to canine wellness.  Our belief is that healthy dogs are happy dogs and so we work to support not only the physical body, but also the spirit!  All dogs reside in foster homes and are treated as members of our families until their loving forever home is found.  It is further a goal of this organization to act as an educational resource for both our adoptive families, as well as other canine guardians who are interested in learning about alternative medicine, species appropriate food, and holistic care for their four-legged family members.
